See what you are tired of

The SavorBook planner board, recipes grouped by keyword with a mark against each

Turning a plan into a list is mechanics. Deciding what to cook on Thursday is not, and the board is for that half.

How long since you made it

Three chips: Mushroom risotto marked never, Beef chilli 9d ago, and Pork cutlets 6d ago with a clock icon

There is one accent colour here and it goes entirely on never, so a dish you wrote down and have not cooked is the loudest thing on the screen. 9d ago in full strength has come round again. 6d ago with a clock, greyed, is still resting.

What is already in the week

Chips showing a dated weekday for meals inside the window and a greyed calendar date for one planned further out

A coloured dot and a weekday means it is already in the window you are looking at, and the dot carries the meal type’s own colour so it matches the bar in a calendar open beside it. A calendar icon, greyed, means it is planned further out than you can currently see.

You set where the line falls

The board toolbar, with the cooldown set to 7 days

Three days and almost nothing is resting. Twenty-eight and a month has to pass. The threshold is exclusive, so a dish cooked exactly a week ago is available again on a seven-day cooldown.

Each keyword also carries how much of it you have planned, which is what shows you a week of the same kind of thing before you have finished building it. Nothing here ranks or scores or learns what you like. It counts, and then you decide.
